OdLOTTOwa (thrilling) ride! Cyclists engaged in social projects

Promoting physical activity and social involvement at the same time? That's the goal of the "OdLOTTOwa (thrilling) ride! Cyclists engaged in social projects" competition organized in cooperation with the Halina Konopacka LOTTO Foundation! More than 7,000 participants stood at the starting line.

The nationwide challenge encouraged people to support one of the 33 projects entered in the competition by covering kilometers on a bicycle. As the number indicated by the counter of a given "representation" increased, so did the chance to win. Among those who could join the ranking were the Koziołek Matołek European Fairy Tale Center in Pacanów, the Revita Foundation of the Association of Guardians and Friends of the Mentally Handicapped, the Dads Association, or the Active Without Barriers Foundatio

What organizations could apply?

In particular, the following could submit their projects: non-profit organizations, non-business entities, organizations and institutions working for the public good. One of the conditions for qualifying a project for the game was its compliance with the statutory objectives of the LOTTO Foundation, such as undertaking and supporting activities aimed at individual development and raising the level of knowledge and quality of life; shaping and promoting social, civic and patriotic attitudes.

Kilometers = real support

Real support awaited the winning organizations in the form of cash prizes to fund their projects.

• 1st place - PLN 25,000
• 2nd place - PLN 20,000
• 3rd place - PLN 15,000

and additional prizes for the awarded organizations of PLN 10,000 each. Not surprisingly, each institution ran an independent promotional campaign to encourage its supporters to compete. Fierce competition continued until the final days. More than 7,000 people managed to encourage the campaign, which collectively drove more than 2 million kilometers.
